Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1 cup water
- Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small saucepan, combine baking soda and water. Bring to a boil.
- While the water is heating, unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Cut each triangle into 3 smaller pieces to form bite-sized pieces.
- Once the water is boiling, carefully drop a few dough pieces into the water for about 30 seconds.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the dough bites and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, and serve warm with dipping sauces.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add garlic powder or cheese to the dough before baking.
- These pretzel bites are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a day or two.
- Try serving them with mustard, cheese sauce, or a spicy dipping sauce.
