- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter, and whisk until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and whisk until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
