- 1 pound beef steak tips
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, coat the steak tips with Cajun seasoning and set aside for 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak tips and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked rigatoni and steak tips back into the skillet, mixing until everything is well coated in the sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
- Substitute beef steak with chicken for a different protein option.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for easy serving.
