- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over each triangle of dough.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the buttered dough.
- Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle up tightly to form a roll.
- Place the rollups on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down.
- Brush the tops lightly with any remaining garlic butter mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
- These rollups can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
- Experiment with different cheeses such as cheddar or pepper jack for varied flavors.
