Ingredients

- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz Earl Grey tea syrup
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz egg white (optional for froth)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon twist, for garnish
Instructions
- Brew a strong cup of Earl Grey tea and let it cool.
- In a saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and the brewed tea to make the Earl Grey syrup. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, Earl Grey syrup, fresh lemon juice, and egg white (if using).
- Dry shake (without ice) for about 15 seconds to froth the egg white.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, substitute gin with tonic water and reduce the syrup to taste.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less syrup based on your preference.
