Deliciously soft and spiced, these Easy Baked Pumpkin Donuts are a perfect fall treat that are quick to make and even quicker to eat!

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner cut off, and pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about halfway.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a sweeter treat, dip the cooled donuts in melted butter and then in cinnamon-sugar.
- These donuts can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Add chocolate chips or nuts to the batter for extra flavor and texture.
