- 1 baguette, sliced
- 2 cups fresh mozzarella, diced
- 2 cups ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush them lightly with olive oil.
- Toast the bread in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine.
- Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Top each slice of toasted bread with a generous spoonful of the tomato and mozzarella mixture.
- Serve immediately while the bread is warm and the toppings are fresh.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can rub the toasted bread with a cut garlic clove before adding the toppings.
