- 3 cups Cheerios
- 1 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup honey
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Cheerios and peanut butter.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, mix together the honey and vanilla extract until warm and well combined.
- Pour the honey mixture over the Cheerios and peanut butter, and stir until fully coated.
- If using, fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9 inch baking pan and press down firmly to create an even layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
- Once set, cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
- For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.
- Feel free to add dried fruits or nuts for extra flavor and texture.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
