- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Cooking spray (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean, flat surface and pinch the seams together to form a rectangle.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Evenly distribute the pepperoni slices over the cheese.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder on top of the toppings.
- Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- If desired, lightly spray the tops with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving with pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite pizza toppings like bell peppers, olives, or mushrooms.
- These pinwheels can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- For a spicier version, add some crushed red pepper flakes to the filling.
