Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup flour (all-purpose or gluten-free)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the sliced apples, honey (or maple syrup), and cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.
- In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
- On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place dollops of Greek yogurt, about 2 tablespoons each, and flatten them slightly.
- Top each yogurt dollop with a spoonful of the apple mixture.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture generously over the apples on each yogurt dollop.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crumble is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
- For the best texture, freeze the coins for at least an hour before enjoying them.
Notes
- Try using different fruits like pears or berries for variety.
- For a vegan option, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and butter with coconut oil.
- These can be stored in the freezer for up to a month.
