  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onions over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef and onions with the frozen hashbrowns and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the beef and hashbrown mixture, stirring to combine everything evenly.
  6. Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with ketchup if desired.
