Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries.
  3. Soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  4. Drain and pat the fries dry with a clean towel.
  5. In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  6. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
