Delicious Garlic Butter Steak Fried Rice, a savory blend of tender steak, fragrant garlic, and perfectly cooked rice, that brings comfort and flavor to your table.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 8 oz sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook for another 2-3 minutes until tender.
  4. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked, then mix with the vegetables.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet, along with the cooked steak, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir until everything is combined and heated through, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak in soy sauce and garlic for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • You can substitute the steak with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
  • For a spicy kick, add some red pepper flakes or sriracha sauce.
