- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Add the melted chocolate and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture, and blend until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate cream cheese mixture until well blended.
- Pour the filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings.

- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free chocolate cookies for the crust.
