Ingredients
Smoked sausage, sliced
Chicken breast, diced
Garlic, minced
Ranch seasoning
Chicken broth
Pasta (penne or rigatoni)
Heavy cream
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot and brown the sausage slices. Remove and set aside.
2. Add chicken to the pot, season lightly, and cook until golden and cooked through.
3. Stir in garlic and ranch seasoning. Toast briefly, then add broth and dry pasta.
4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 12–14 minutes.
5. Uncover, stir in cream, then fold in cheddar cheese off heat.
6. Let it rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra spice, use andouille sausage or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
Add baby spinach or kale at the end for extra greens.
Great for meal prep—just add cheese fresh when reheating.
