Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup of pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup of sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup of sliced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup of sliced black olives
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on each slice of bread.
  5. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the cheese.
  6. Add pepperoni, bell peppers, black olives, and Italian seasoning on top of the sauce.
  7. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover with the other two slices of bread, buttered side up.
  9. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  10. Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
  11. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
