These Quick & Delicious Apple Pie Bars are a perfect fall treat, combining the flavors of cinnamon-spiced apples with a buttery, crumbly crust. They’re easy to make and great for sharing!

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 3 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Extra cinnamon for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the melted butter and egg to the dry ingredients, mixing until crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, toss the diced apples with lemon juice, cornstarch, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly over the crust in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in some chopped nuts or raisins with the apple filling.
- These bars can be served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful dessert.
