  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, form the beef mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  3. Cook the patties in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, place a tortilla and sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
  5. Layer the cooked patties on top of the cheese, followed by diced tomatoes and jalapeños (if using). Top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Fold the tortilla over to create a half-moon shape. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the skillet, slice into wedges, and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
