These Sticky Pineapple-Teriyaki Chicken Wings are a delicious blend of sweet and savory flavors, perfect for game day or a family gathering.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Marinate the chicken wings in the mixture for at least 1 hour, ideally overnight for best flavor.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through. In a small saucepan, bring the remaining marinade to a boil, then mix cornstarch with water to thicken it. Brush over wings during the last 5 minutes of cooking.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
  • You can substitute honey for brown sugar for a different sweetness.
  • Serve with a side of sliced cucumbers for a refreshing contrast.
