Instructions
- Season Chicken: Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Make sure pieces are uniform for even cooking throughout the dish.
- Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook seasoned chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- Make Sauce: In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch packet, cheddar, and mozzarella until smooth. The mixture should be creamy and well combined.
- Combine Filling: Stir cooked chicken and thawed vegetables into the cheese sauce mixture. Make sure everything is evenly coated with the creamy sauce for best results.
- Assemble Base: Unroll one tube of crescent dough and press into bottom of greased 9×13 baking dish. Pinch seams together to create a solid crust foundation.
- Add Layers: Spread chicken mixture over dough base, then top with second tube of crescent dough. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with extra cheddar cheese.
- Bake Perfect: Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until top is golden brown and crescents are cooked through. Let rest 5 minutes before serving with fresh chives.
