- 4 cups watermelon, cubed and seeded
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the watermelon cubes, sugar, lime juice, lemon juice, and water.
- Blend until smooth and the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or acidity if desired.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours, until the edges begin to freeze.
- Stir the mixture with a fork to break up any ice crystals.
- Return to the freezer and freeze for another 2-3 hours until fully set.
- Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.
- Scoop the sorbet into bowls and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in fresh mint before blending.
- If you prefer a smoother texture, you can churn the sorbet in an ice cream maker instead.
